At the "Banca Finanza" event held in Turin, the "Banking Oscars" were presented, recognizing banking institutions that have distinguished themselves through financial strength, profitability, growth, talent development, and digital innovation.
Among the award recipients were Antonio Patuelli, Chairman of the Italian Banking Association (ABI); Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, Deputy Vice Chairman of ABI and Chairman of Intesa Sanpaolo; Camillo Venesio, Vice Chairman of ABI and Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Banca del Piemonte; and Marco Elio Rottigni, General Manager of ABI.
The awards ceremony, hosted at the Hotel Principi di Piemonte in Turin, was also attended by our CEO, Dr. Massimiliano De Castro, who presented an award to Dr. Mauro Re of Banca Cesare Ponti, ranked first in the "Small Banks" category, in recognition of the bank's achievements and its contribution to the banking and financial sector.
The event, organized by the long-established specialist magazine Banca Finanza, brought together institutional representatives, executives, and leading figures from the banking industry to celebrate excellence across the Italian banking sector.
Our company also took part in the event, reaffirming its commitment to fostering strong relationships within the banking and financial community. The CEO was accompanied by the Institutional Banking Relations and Sales team—Matteo Pagani, Marco Minora, and Daniele Margarita—as well as Senior Partner Michele Pignataro.
